Dear CISV Calgary community,

      We’re just a few weeks away from welcoming the world to Village 2025—our flagship program and a unique chance to showcase the warmth and generosity of Albertan hospitality. This is our opportunity to give 11-year-olds from around the globe an unforgettable summer of learning, friendship, and cultural exchange—and we need your help to make it happen!

We’ve created a Sign-Up Genius to organize all volunteer roles.

How many volunteers do we need?

     We estimate that over 100 volunteer shifts will be required to run Village smoothly—from driving delegations and prepping bedding to organizing food and logistics. Some tasks can be done at your own pace, while others need hands-on support at key times. We’ll need at least many volunteers contributing in various ways to make this work.

A few notes:

• No time listed? That means there’s flexibility or that we still need a few more days to know the times. For tasks like delegation pickups or donation drop-offs, we’ll coordinate based on availability or delegation arrival times.

• Sign up for multiple roles if you can! Consider sticking with a theme—for example, if you sign up to help with bedding, you might also take care of pickup, storage, and laundry. This simplifies coordination and makes your contribution go even further.

Running a Village is a massive team effort—but it’s also one of the most rewarding things we do together as a chapter. Let’s come together and show these children just how incredible CISV Calgary is.
