About National Camp:
National Camp is a national program hosted annually by JB Canada for our fabulous Canadian chapters for participants ages 11 – 17. Each chapter has four spots for delegates to be sent to National Camp.
This Year’s Camp:
This year National Camp is going to be held from August 12-19, 2023 just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Junior Leaders:
The 2020 National Camp Review brought forward the idea of the Junior Leader that I am eager to implement at this year’s National Camp. Since National Camp has not been held since 2019, most Junior Boards probably don’t have a Local National Camp Coordinator (LNCC) anymore. Instead of the LNCC position it will be replaced by the Junior Leader. The goal is for each chapter to have a Junior Leader that will act as a liaison for their chapter and take on a greater leadership position at camp. Applicants will have to be 16 or 17 at the start date of camp.
Junior Leader Applications will be due by Wednesday, March 1st. At this point, if a chapter does not have an applicant for Junior Leader, I will ask that chapter’s Junior Board to select a member of their board to be the liaison for their chapter for National Camp, but that person will not be required to attend camp.
